Fall 2019 Professional Development Sessions

During the Fall 2019 semester, Sponsored Programs is collaborating with the Faculty Center on Teaching and Learning (FCT&L) to offer professional development sessions through the Teaching and Learning Innovation series.  All faculty and staff are welcome to attend.  The FCT&L will post annoncements and registration links in EKU Today prior to each session.

The Money Hunt: Finding and Evaluating External Funding Opportunities
Do you have an interest in pursuing grant funding, but don’t know where to apply?  Join Sponsored Programs for an informational session that will show you where to look for funding and how to evaluate what you find.  Bring your project ideas and keywords! 

Nov. 4 (Mon) – 10:10-11:00 and Nov. 14 (Thur.) – 9:30-10:45 (repeated session)
Faculty Reflections: Strategies for Success in Securing and Managing Externally-Sponsored Projects
Sponsored Programs will host a panel discussion with faculty who will share strategies for success and offer tips for overcoming obstacles.  Panel participants will discuss rewarding and challenging aspects of applying for funding and managing grant awards.  Come prepared with questions!
