Responsible Conduct of Research Training Opportunities

Sponsored Programs will host regular virtual sessions on the Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) during the 2024-2025 academic year.  Training is required for PIs, other faculty, staff, and students working on awards sponsored by the National Institutes of Health (NIH), National Science Foundation (NSF), United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA), and other agencies with RCR training requirements.  The training schedule is provided below and will be regularly updated.  PIs may also request small group sessions for students by contacting Tiffany Hamblin.

Responsible Conduct of Research Training for Principal Investigators
This is a required training for Principal Investigators (PIs) supported by NSF, NIH, and USDA-NIFA funding.  The 1.5-hour session provides an overview of RCR values and concerns and presents case scenarios for discussion.  Registration links are provided below.  All sessions include the same content; PIs should register for only one session.  

Responsible Conduct of Research Training for Student Research Assistants
This is a required training for students engaged in projects funded by NSF, NIH, and USDA-NIFA.  The one-hour session provides an overview of RCR values and concerns and presents case scenarios for discussion.  Registration links are provided below.  All sessions include the same content; students should register for only one session.
